The Job Functions

  • Create and present furniture design concepts to meet client requirements
  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for interior and furniture design projects
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences and interior design requirements
  • Conduct research to stay updated with the latest trends in the furniture industry
  • Provide cost estimates for materials, labor, and installation
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure accurate production
  • Oversee the installation and setup of furniture pieces
  • Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in furniture design, interior design, or related field 
  • 3+ years of experience in furniture design or interior design industry 
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of current design trends and styles
